Once you’ve logged in to the WordPress Dashboard of your website (which is: www.yourdomain.com.au/wp-admin/), go to Users > Your Profile and scroll down to the bottom of the page. There you will see the option to set a New Password.
Category: Website Account Settings
Your website username cannot be changed – it’s set – because that’s what WordPress uses to keep a record of who has posted which page or post. You can easily change the related email account, name and password, though.
For the purpose of people not being able to guess your password, we recommend using a password which has a combination of lower case and upper case letters, numerical digits and other characters.
Your passwords are heavily encrypted in the MySQL website databases.
We can’t even see what your password is.
